Hi All,

First time poster,

Have a f4-425plus, it had 4 drives, 2x 16tb and 2x3tb in traid,

Swapped a single 3tb out to add in another 16 and its been approx 18hrs and only rebuilt about 7% of the raid so far, is this normal? i could have "" reaquired " my plex library in this time with ease.

Seems EXTREMELY slow, i have another brand new 16tb to swap out for the second 3tb also....

Any help?

You can check the RAID synchronization speed by entering the command 'cat /proc/mdstat' in the 'Terminal' application of TOS. Meanwhile, please go to 'Control Panel > Disks > S.M.A.R.T.' to run a S.M.A.R.T. test on the disks and check for any "Warning" or "Critical" alerts.
