[Help] File Copy from Mac to TNAS  [SOLVED]

Post by stephenvb »

I can't resolve errors I'm getting with copying from file a Mac to the the TNAS. Some files transfer, many don't.

F4-423
version: 6.0.794-01324
logged into public share with admin account.

The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8062).

Using SMB
veto enabled: /.AppleDB/.AppleDouble/.AppleDesktop/Network Trash Folder/Temporary Items/._*/.DS_Store/Thumbs.db/.safe/

I'm thinking it's something hidden in the directory that's not getting caught by veto.

I have system logs on, but there are no references.

Are there any other settings I can look at?

Hello, based on the information you provided, there may be a conflict between the SMB settings in TOS and macOS. Please try troubleshooting by following these steps:
1. Go to TOS System Interface > Control Panel > Network Services > File Services > SMB > Advanced
2. Uncheck “Veto files”, save the settings, and try again.

Thank you! That seems to have been the issue and there have been no more errors.
