TNAS model: T4-424
TOS version: 6.0.794

The AI recognition function for People and Location don't work in the Photo app, seems to be working for Scene though.

Attempted fixes:
- Restart Nas
- Turn on/off people recognition setting in PC client
- Turn on/off people recognition setting in mobile client

How many photos do you need to identify approximately? Did you first enable scene recognition and then enable person and location recognition? When one of the tasks is enabled, the other tasks are in a waiting execution state.

Total photo to be identified around 13,000.

I did try only turning on people recognition as well, it shows "AI recognition in process, please wait! 0.63%" on the top right hand corner, but the number doesn't progress and eventually disappears.

BTW, there are only "People" and "Scene" pickable in the AI setting, no "Location".

Please take screenshots of the pages showing people, scenes, and locations with AI recognition enabled, then send here to check.

really, immich has more features than photos

What happens after I flick the "People" tickbox on/off, it will disappear after couple minutes:

Regarding the problem you encountered, you can try our internal app version, which includes optimization modifications related to the issue you mentioned and is expected to resolve the difficulties you are facing.

BTW I don't think place is working properly but I am not in need of that function so that's fine for now.
