[Help] F6-424 Won't turn on

I tried to reset my F6-424 to install TOS on it (after having run Proxmox with a TrueNAS VM for a while - but wanting more simplicity).

I flashed the USB drive as explained here: viewtopic.php?t=6433

Now my NAS won't turn on. I had changed the BIOS to turn on automatically after a power failure. But when I plug in the power supply the two fans just jiggle a bit and then nothing happens. No light on the power button either.

I tried pushing the power button, reset button, remove all disks (including NVMe disks), remove one of the two RAM modules. Nothing helps. Even tried another power supply - same problem. Even removed the battery for 15 minutes as indicated here: viewtopic.php?t=4837

What do I try next?

Update: after about half an hour being plugged in it *did* turn on. Both fans are spinning at max speed - but no beep or no output on HDMI.

After resetting the BIOS and removing all hard drives, if there is no beep sound and no HDMI output when powering on, it typically indicates that there is a hardware issue with the device. Please record a power-on video and send it to the email address [email protected] so that we can perform a final confirmation.

@CursaYang It does not boot. That's what I wrote before. There is really nothing to record - no screen output, no nothing.

It can't be a hard drive issue since there are no hard drives in the NAS. I even removed the NVMe drives to test without any drives. Nothing changed.

I can record a video of the two fans spinning at full speed. Would that be sufficient?

I had removed the CMOS battery overnight. No change.

Sure, we just need to confirm. If you made your purchase from our official store and it is within the warranty period, we will arrange for a sales representative to contact you.
