[Help] RSYNC ??

I see Rsync in the backup options but when I try to set it up, it appears to only sync outbound.

I would like to pull data inbound from another NAS.

Is this not possible on Terramaster?

I am at the latest OS.

Hello! Thank you very much for contacting TerraMaster Technical Support. Regarding the issue you reported about the Rsync application, this program currently only supports the outbound synchronization function. We recommend that you search for and install the Centralized Backup application in the 【App Center】 of the TOS system. This application can effectively support cross-device data pulling and backup operations. For its detailed usage (including step-by-step guidance, function descriptions, etc.), please refer to the official tutorial: https://toshelp.terra-master.com/web/#/ ... zed_Backup.
If you encounter any other questions during the installation or usage process, please feel free to contact us at any time, and we will provide you with further assistance!

What is wrong with Rsync Server (via control panel) for inbound?

I can only seem to get it to send , not receive.

The product manager told me it doesn't work at this time. I am hoping it gets fixed soon

I have tried to use the Centralized Backup. It allows a RSYNC pull but will not mirror the directory.

Instead of /VOL1/MUSIC to VOL1/MUSIC

It does /VOL1/MUSIC to VOL1/MUSIC/MUSIC.

Can this be fixed? or is it a bug?

Hi.
As we replied to you in the support email, we have not yet observed this anomaly.
A temporary guess is that it may be related to permission settings. You can try editing the file permissions of another NAS or attempt to create a new shared folder for testing.

Permissions is not the issues.
The Cenralized backup also makes two other directories as well. So it looks like this.I don't see how you can not see this in lab.
