[Help] F4-425 Plus High Memory Uasge and Non-response

I have a new F4-425 Plus and after several hours, the performance becomes very sluggish. It has very high memory usage, with smbrichacl with 80-90% usage. It eventually becomes non-responsive, and the only way to recover is to reboot using the power button. The only app installed is Plex, and just copied my movies on to it. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks,
Roger

Hello, smbrichacl is an authorization process. If you have made permission modifications to many files or users recently, it will consume more resources to implement permission overrides. The function of smbrichacl is to apply and override the newly modified permissions to the affected files. You can copy movies in batches or upgrade the NAS memory.

Thank you for the information. Sounds like a bug if this process can cause to the NAS to be completely non-responsive. Please look into a better method for handling such cases. I should not have to use the Power Button to shut down the system and hope it reboots correctly.
If I upgrade the RAM from 16 GB to 32 GB, will it run without becoming non-responsive?
Thanks,
Roger

Upgrading the memory will not affect the normal operation of the device.
Please generate and download the log report in TOS > Technical Support > Issue Report, then send it to our technical support email (

Unfortunately, I cannot even log into the device. It boots and TNAS PC see the device, but when I try to log in using TOS, it says "502 Bad Gateway". I cannot log in using the mobile app either.
Thanks,
Roger
