i got the F5-221 a week ago and 2 days ago i got my 6TB seagate 6tb st6000vn001 and i keep seeing this
pic 2.PNG
it has been online for 2days 2:45 going on boot time
i read in this board that it will self check after 12 hr's and report healthy but it has not
the hard drive has been working and is 25% full of my movies and working fine from what i can tell
ane advice would be nice to ease the worry of losing 2 days of ripping dvd's to a failing hdd :(

the IronWolf Health Monitoring system has obviously detected some sort of error, so i would imagine you need to find out exactly what that error is, perhaps its a bad block on the hard drive thats not currently being used or could well just be a transient error flag up

can you click on where it says theres a notification and does it tell you more?

what happens if you scan for bad blocks?
