[Help] TOS 6 smb.conf edits revert

I make some edits to the smb.conf and it saves normally. When I restart samba service or reboot, the file reverts back to the original.
What can be done to prevent this?

TOS version - 6.0.783-01200

Thank you

The configuration of smb.conf is sourced from the system database, and it ensures consistency with the actual permission settings in the database upon each service restart. If you wish to configure permissions, please edit them through TOS - Control Panel - Shared Folders/Users/User Groups.

Thanks for the reply TMzethar. But I want to hide my homes user folder from Network Neighborhood, which doesn't show up under Shared Folders. Otherwise it would be a simple click, so I have to edit the smb.conf
Any other suggestions?

UPDATE: Found the option under Advanced Settings for the user to disable the homes directory.

Here you can realize what you want:
TOS - Control Panel - User - More(···) - Advanced Settings。
Uncheck the “Enable homes user directory”.
