How to Participate
1.Send an email to [email protected] to apply for the TOS 7 Insider Preview membership.
2.In your request, please provide your name, country, TNAS model, and the primary use case of your TNAS. Await further confirmation from our team.
3.Once accepted as an Insider member, you will receive a download link for the TOS 7 Insider Preview version to start exploring the new features.
4.Application deadline: November 5, 2025.
5.Insider testers list confirmation: November 6, 2025.
6.Insider version release: November 7, 2025.
7.Deadline for issue reports and feedback submission: November 24, 2025.

Important Notes Before Applying
Before applying for the TOS 7 Insider Preview version, please read and agree to the following terms:
1.As an early-stage version, TOS 7 Insider Preview may contain bugs or incomplete features.To avoid causing inconvenience to others, please do not publicly share any issues or version details encountered during testing.
2.This Insider Preview version is not suitable for work or production environments. If your TNAS device is used for business operations or stores critical data, please do not participate in this program.
3.Before updating to TOS 7 Insider Preview version, you must fully backup all data on your TNAS device.
4.The TOS 7 Insider Preview update package is for personal testing only. Redistribution or sharing with any third party is strictly prohibited.
5.Your device must be a TNAS product eligible for upgrade to TOS 6.0.783 or a later version.
6.If your current TerraMaster device does not meet the requirements for the TOS 7 Insider Preview but you are eager to participate, you may purchase our latest products available on our official website or Amazon store.
7.When sending an email, please use the subject line format: "[TOS 7] + Specific Topic".

Good evening, Before trying version 7 and risking data loss, I should mention that if version 7 supports file sharing from a DDNS address instead of the incredibly slow TNAS.Online.

And while it's much faster when hibernated disks wake up because they all come online simultaneously, in my case they take almost 3 minutes to become available.

If these two things that worry me haven't improved and it's just a cosmetic issue, I think I'll stay on version 6.

Thanks @TMroy to answer, it sounds good. And about the awake from hybernation question?
Is there an option to have all 12 disks boot simultaneously when they wake up? There are 12 disks, and I imagine your answer is because booting all 12 at once is resource-intensive, but that's how it works after a power-on.
If TOS 7 hasn't improved the boot process from Hibernation, is there a way to modify it with some kind of script or similar?
I ask because it takes almost the same amount of time to boot the disks from a power-on as it does from hibernation.
