[Help] Terra-Master D8 Hybrid Bay 4 (HDD) Issues

Hi All,
I've recently bought a new hybrid D8 and have already updated the firmware for the 4 M.2 Slots, as I researched before I purchased. However, I'm having issues with bay 4 (HDD SATA). Sometimes the disk will dismount randomly when my Mac is asleep. And when the disk is mounted, I get periods of instability (e.g slow read and write speeds, continuously searching on Mac's Finder) and have to reboot the DAS. However, when I swap the disk into another bay (1-3), it works perfectly fine. Then the disk I just swapped with it begins to have issues in bay 4. Is there a firmware update for the SATA HDD bays for the D8 Hybrid that will fix these issues?
Best wishes.

Hi.
Please contact the after-sales team or the dealer to verify the situation. If the situation is confirmed to be correct, they can replace your D8 Hybrid for you.

I have similar problem on my Mac Studio with 8-bay TDAS - after 30 minutes of inactivity it is disconnected and all nvme drives are inacessible. SATA drives are visible, but slow. My device is aprox 14 days old (buyed from TM store on Amazon).
I have to restart TDAS to start working again. I am using it in JBOD configuration and using only 3 of 4 nvme and 2 SATA SSDs and one HDD.
Need to find Windows computer and try to flash firmware.

Hello! Have you checked whether the issue persists after disabling your computer's sleep/hibernation settings? If the problem continues to occur, you may try replacing the USB cable with a shorter one and test again.
