The RAM of F2-220 could be upgraded to 4GB. Only TerraMaster RAM is supported, please search TerraMaster at Amazon to get the proper RAM.

The max memeory F2-220 supports is 8GB https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en ... 8-ghz.html

Using a incompatible memory may lead your system fail to boot or even crash. Only officially qualified memory is recommanded.

Cant see why there would be a problem if the RAM meets the required criteria/specification just like all the recommended HDDs yet mine has been fine on non recommended HDDs...generally speaking if an incompatible RAM is used the system will not boot up at all at least that's how most PCs respond to RAM of the wrong spec.

The required sec for the 220/221 series is DDR-3 1333mHz 1.35v the L dual voltage will work best as its capable of operating between 1.25 and 1.5v but my friend is running the std 1.5v and 8gig in his F5-221 with no problems.
