[Help] F8 SSD

Picked one up about a while back. Then I had to move recently. Tried to reconnect everything together. but for some reason it didnt seem to work.
used chatgpt for troublshooting, cause i was stuck. it led me to a possible issue on the thernet port or card, idk. I tested the cable to a switch. everything lit up. i assume cable is fine and ethernet port on pc was fine, because it lit up. i move one end of cable to the nas, so now its pc straight to nas. cable no longer lights up. i try from nas to switch. no light. since switch, pc port, and cable is fine, im assuming port on nas is likely issue.
afaik, theres no other way to connect this nas to pc (correct me if im wrong). but i have several drives on this setup already, that i would like to access. it was also in some sort of raid config, idr which one. what can i do to get this nas working again?

When you moved did you change isp and/or get a new router? Router DHCP has changed lan segment addressing?
{If you connect pc/nas directly you would need to give both a fixed address in same segment (192.168.xxx.nnn) where xxx is same at both ends. Direct connect does not allocate dhcp addresses, so if nas is set to dhcp it is more complicated.}

I could be wrong, but i think I link the nas directly to pc. If I didnt, then i linked it to a microtek switch, then to pc.
I had it connected from windows explorer folder, so i still have the old address of when it did work.
Yes, isp is same provider, but new account, and all. router is new as well.
Short term goal is to link it directly. from nas to PC. long term would be to use the switch. but currently, i just want to access it, so a direct connection is fine.

Also, currently i have connected the nas connected to pc directly. im trying to follow instructions from
viewtopic.php?p=26886&sid=97cb21012f3c0 ... b61#p26886
but i connect my tnas directly to pc
i changed it so that the first three segments are mathcing, but last segment is different than the last known usable ip
and nada. ive tried restarting pc and nas and no lights are shown of the ethernet ports.

Please try disconnecting the power, replug it, and then restart the F8 SSD.

Trying to understand your setup.
How is your PC connected to internet?
Are you using wifi to connect?
If not by wifi, how many ethernet ports do you have on pc?
Windows, MAC, Linux on PC?
Do you know if your F8 was set to fixed IP or DHCP in original location?

There is one port available on pc
Windows 10
i dont think i know enough about the fixed ip/ dhcp thing to answer this properly, but i have the ip address of what it was like when it was working and connecting fine.
Someone from Terramaster was helping me this morning before they vanished.
They suggested to remove all drives and then turn on, and wait for 3 beeps, TNAS-PC was able to find it after that.
They then suggest i plug in the old drives while it was running. at this point, they vanished, so i dont know what else to do after this

Thanks your response.
Just out of curiosity - You found nas under TNAS-PC: What was the ip address shown and how did this compare to the old ip?
