Hello, I think this usage scenario is relatively rare. When the system is running slowly and no options can be opened, shortcuts might also be inaccessible. This method seems somewhat clumsy. However, I will still forward your suggestion to the relevant person in charge.

Thanks TMnick. It will also be user friendly. ATM. we need to find this in the first icon which is not intuitive.
Also, there is no way to implement something similar to CTRL+ALT+DEL in windows? (or similar functionality via an icon in the proposed location?)
Thanks again.

Hello! To help you troubleshoot more efficiently, please provide the version number of the TOS system. Additionally, could you confirm whether you have recently installed or enabled any new applications? How long after startup does the system blockage issue occur? Also, high system disk I/O load might cause blockages. How long have you been using your hard drive? If possible, could you enable Debug mode and send the relevant logs to me? I will analyze the cause as soon as possible.

Hi TMjack. Thanks for your reply. Pretty sure the reason is the amount of files in my TNAS (T12 - 12xHDD) and constant movement of files between HDDs (yes, my fault). Still moving files around to get a good (permanent) structure and after that I am pretty confident the system would be more stable.

Thanks. But I am sure in this case, is my fault demanding too much from my TNAS :)

Regarding the issue you mentioned—“the system is extremely slow and unable to open any options effectively”—we need to analyze the system logs to determine the exact cause. We recommend enabling “Support & Help” > “Debug Mode” in TOS. When the issue occurs again, please restart the NAS, then access the TOS system, download the Debug logs, and send them to [email protected] for detailed analysis.
Thank you very much for your feedback. We will do our best to improve system stability
