[Help] Transfer/migrate entire disk array to a new TM NAS?

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure i know the answer to this question already but I wanted to do a confirmation before I moved forward.

I had a bit of a SNAFU with the drives I ordered for my T9-423, apparently there are now drives with a "power disable" feature. Anyway, I had ordered 7x 14tb HC530's for the T9-423, but these have the power disable feature and were not being recognized.

I have 7x 18tb HC550 Ultrastars that were intended for the U12-500 Plus that is on the way that were sitting on a shelf waiting for the U12.

Since I really need to get moving on getting the data off the old Synology NAS's, what I am thinking I may do, is install the existing 7x 18TB drives in the t9-423, and then just simply move the entire disk array over to the U12-500 Plus once that NAS arrives (and is setup of course).

From what I'm reading on the https://www.terra-master.com/global/sto ... -migration site, this should not at all be a problem? And, more so, unlike Synology, it doesn't seem to matter the order in which the drives are placed? I am still planning on making sure all the slots are the same, i.e. I move slot 1 from the T9 to slot 1 on the U12, etc.

Anyways, sorry if I am wasting anyone's time, I just wanted to confirm before I started moving data, etc.

Edit: Both NAS's have (or will have) the TOS6 installed on a nvme ssd volume of their own. My intention is to have both disk arrays (when all said and done) as TRAID+

Yes, you can just move all drives from your T6 to new U12, regardless drives sitting order.
