I have F2-210, TOS 4.1.27

Problem: USB files cannot be accessed from TOS application (web UI) for admin.

I mounted USB SD card to the USB port. I cannot access files from the TOS application (web browser) under admin account. It says Permission denied. At the same time it shows top level list of folders in file manager but doesn't allow going inside because of the issue.

I can access the files via SMB service though. No issues.

Please advise whether you can write to the USB with SMB access?

yes, I have full RW access over SMB. Created a test account with admin role, it gets RW access as well.
I can also access over SSH and have all manipulations with files.

Still no success from TNAS web UI under none of the accounts.

That's weird. Is it ok to let our engineer remotely check it for you? You can send an email with all the information to support(at)terra-master.com to confirm it.

So... tried to troubleshoot with support and they could only declare that SD card readers are not supported nor there are any plans for future support. This has cut off huge pie of use cases when customers need to transfer large SD cards files to NAS.
