How do you paste text into terminal? contrl v and middle button don't seem to work, tried pasting text from outside terminal into terminal and also from within terminal.

You can paste from outside the terminal to the terminal by right-clicking the mouse on the terminal page.
Within the terminal, you can copy using the Ctrl and Insert key combination, and paste using the Shift and Insert key combination.
