[Help] Changed a HDD with warnings for a new one, and the TNAS started to rebuild from scratch.

Help! One of my 4 10G disks in an F4-243 was showing a "warning" state, so i powered down the NAS, and replaced the disk with a new one of the same make and model. Then I restarted the NAS, expecting to get back into the GUI and rebuild the TRAID.
Instead, I got dumped into the re-initialization startup screen, plus the SSH CLI access stopped working. This is not at all what I need to do. Further, swapping the disk with the warnings back in restored everything to the previous state. I expect that RAID array will rebuild itself when the new drive is added. I do not expect to have to rebuild the entire NAS.
The OS is not on the hard drives, it's on a RAID pair of SSDs, and they are just fine.
Anyone have any words of wisdom?
Paul

To assist you more efficiently in resolving the issue, could you please provide the specific version information of your current system?
If your system version is TOS 6 or above and the problematic disk is the sole system disk, a system reinstallation is required when replacing the hard drive. The specific operation recommendation is as follows: After replacing the disk in warning status with a new hard drive, perform the initialization operation first, and the system will automatically initiate the array synchronization process.
Special reminder: During the initialization or system reinstallation process, if any of the following situations occurs, please stop all operations immediately:
1.The system prompts to format the hard drive.
2.After entering the system, a prompt appears to create a storage pool or volume.
In such cases, please do not proceed with any further operations and contact our online customer service through the official website immediately. We will arrange for a professional engineer to assist you remotely.
