Full reset of F5-422

Hi, I bought my F5-422 5 or 6 years ago and am finally going to actually get around to using it. I'd obviously forgotten the username/password I'd originally setup way back when and followed the procedure to reset the NAS and got in to the TOS desktop fine. It still had whatever config I'd initially set it up with which probably didn't make any sense back then and makes even less sense now. IS there a way to absolutely blitz the device and get it back to effectively an out of the box setup? I tried the factory reset but that seems to retain users and what little test data was on there of which I've got no interest in. I'm used to big Dell StorEdges and the like where a reset means a reset and destruction is only ever a click away with straight forward ways to re-initialize arrays but somehow, this seems less friendly.
At some point, I must have updated TOS to 5.1.45 but it's not clear if this can take TOS 6.x. I tried to read some of the threads and they were indicating it needed a larger system partition than the 2Gb I appear to have when I SSH into it and check the layout. If not maybe I'll look at TrueNAS or something on here.
It's running TOS 5.1.145-00320 and the BIOS is apparently MAPL0303V16 if any of that helps.
Thanks for any help or pointers.
