How to Properly Replace, Add, or Move RAM and M.2 NVMe SSD?

Steps:
1. Power Off the TNAS Device
• Turn off the TNAS device and unplug the power cord to ensure it is completely powered down. Wait for 1-3 minutes before proceeding.
2a. Replace or Add RAM
1) Use a screwdriver to open the TNAS case and locate the RAM slot.
2) Gently press the clips on both sides of the RAM module to release it, then remove the RAM.
3) Align the new RAM module with the slot, ensuring the notch is correctly positioned. Apply even pressure until the clips on both sides snap into place. Make sure the RAM is fully inserted and securely fixed to avoid poor contact due to looseness.
2b. Replace or Add M.2 NVMe SSD
1) Use a screwdriver to open the TNAS case and locate the M.2 NVMe SSD slot.
2) Unscrew the M.2 fixing screw, align the M.2 NVMe SSD with the slot, insert it, and press it into place. Then, tighten the fixing screw.
3. Restart the TNAS Device
• Reassemble the device case, ensuring all screws are tightened and the case is secure. Plug in the power cord and restart the TNAS device.
