Ability to Scheduling Media Indexing
Media Indexing takes a ton of CPU and Constant HDD Access.
As a Results Apps run Slow, and the TNAS is VERY LOUD.
It would be very nice to be able to schedule the Media Indexing so it only happens between specific times.
My Wife would be eternally grateful if this can be implemented
Thank you.

Don't disagree with the principle (one has to wonder where you keep the nas

) but seems to me that media indexing takes place when files in the relevant folders change (added/deleted?). In which case what would be adding/deleting files all the time? And, can that scheduling be changed?

Currently it's in the Living Room next to my router.
I backup photos to it when i take them, Currently there are 90k photos on the device mostly RAW files and it takes DAYS to process the indexing.
Anytime I have to rebuild the Index or if i make a change and it has to index again. It again will take DAYS of non stop HDD Noise.
My wife hates it as she has trouble blocking out noises.
Right now I don't have any Hardlines to anywhere else in the house so im kinda stuck having it next to the router.
Being able to it run overnight during a window instead of all the time would be nice.

At present, we do not have better solution for you. but I think, simply you can turn the NAS off when you do not want it to working on indexing.

Indexing is set by folder. Maybe those folders that are established and indexed could be (temporarily) removed from the indexing 'list' to keep the process shorter. New photo folders could be added to the index list at a time of your choosing to start indexing. Otherwise, it seems to me, even if indexing is started in a 'window' of time, it will continue until finished
