Would anyone be able to advise how to update smartmontools (smartctl) to version 7.4?

Can't view F.A.R.M data for Seagate drives with version 7.2 in TOS6 and looking to test some "new" drives to ensure they're legit following the recent scandal of refurb/old drives with wiped S.M.A.R.T stats being sold as new. I've tried updating via terminal but 7.2 is reported as the latest version available.

Sorry, the version of smartctl tool is low. We have plans to update the smartctl tool in future TOS versions.

Is there any way to manually update it or run it via docker?
