HTTPS not working

I have a F4-423 running TOS 6.0.610. Suddently a few days ago the NAS stopped opening with HTTPS.

- If I use HTTPS on the broswer the error returned is: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
- If i use the port i defined for HTTPS with HTTP://my.ip:port it opens but without HTTPS. I defined different ports for HTTPS and HTTP.
- Not an expert but looked at the nginx file and it seems the https part is missing ssl on the port line

In attachment screeenshot from the ngix.conf. Tried adding the SSL at the end of the port but when i restart the server the TOS overwrites the file.

Hello, thank you for contacting TerraMaster!
Please go to Control Panel > Security > Certificate to check if the certificate has expired. If it has expired, please manually click to update it.
You can also try changing the HTTPS port and then observe whether the issue persists.

Then the certificate says 2026/02/10. Clicked the update anyway.

I also tried changing the port but got the same error as before.

Any other log files or something I can share so you can help find the problem?

Are you connecting from within your local LAN?

Yes, I'm in my local network.

Ok, I believe because i had "reddirect http to https" and https isn't working I now lost complete access to the NAS interface. I can only use SSH. Please help!

Will you eventually provide directions on how to solve this?

Thank you Gremlin but it doesn't seem to relate to my problem since it worked for a couple of days and now it doesn't. Although after reboot I can access the UI again with http.

This might be a special use case. Please contact the customer service window or technical support email to arrange a time for a remote inspection.

I do have the same problem. The remote link is with "https" but after pressing enter, it cancelled the "https". I hope this can be resolved as a lot of company cannot accept non secure link.

Obviously you are referring to a different issue than with the owner, although it could apply to the same title.
Please describe your environment: NAS model, TOS version, browser name, screenshot of the problem.
