Is my F4-210 now useless?

I have a F4-210 and a F4-223.

The F4-223 is fine running TOS 6 and has the full suite of applications available.

The F4-210 is stuck at TOS 4.2.23- and has no useful applications any more...especially Duple, which was promised on the F4-210 years ago. The only backup application on the 210 is the rsync based task, and that doesn't suit my needs at all. I would also love to be able to use Centralized Backup on the 210.

It seems that even with this fairly new, but ARM based device, I have been left behind by Terramaster - there seems to be no future for the F4-210.

Is this a true statement of the position?

If so, then it's goodbye Terramaster, and hello Synology.

We sincerely thank you for choosing TerraMaster products and for your recognition of the TOS 6 system. However, due to the hardware limitations of the F4-210 product, we regret to inform you that this device is unable to support the operation of the Centralized Backup application.

What about Duple? It was promised years ago.

it's possible that the Duple requires more powerful hardware to function optimally, which might be why it's not yet supported on the F4 210.
