so i notice the F2-423 has a HDMI port on it

in real simple terms what is the point? does it show a desktop that you can then use a keyboard and mouse on instead of using the web control panel?

It's essentially there if you need access to UEFI or to assist with troubleshoot if the TNAS is inaccessible on your network.

If you replace TOS with a third-party OS, it might have more use if that solution has a desktop environment.

Thanks so in normal operation there’s not much point to it being just sat in a comms cabinet
