Can anyone explain how to set up remote access for my TNAS device using the TNAS PC app? I'm particularly interested in any security measures I should take to ensure my data remains safe while accessing it remotely.

You can enable TNAS online or DDNS in the TOS system to access TNAS remotely, and then use the remote address to log in to TOS on TNAS PC.

Google "Can I setup ddns behind CGNAT" - which is a problem area for some and often overlooked in responses.
