TDAS Fan rotation stops when the power button is pressed?

For the D2-320, D4-320, D5 Hybrid, D8 Hybrid, and D6-320 TDAS models, the fan spins briefly but stops when the power button is pressed. This issue occurs when you press the power button, causing the fan to rotate for a moment before stopping. The possible causes and solutions are as follows:
Normal Behavior
No USB connection or no hard drive installed: When the TDAS unit is not connected to the computer's USB port or a hard drive is not installed, the unit enters standby mode to conserve power and extend its lifespan. In this case, the fan will briefly spin and then stop.
Operating Logic: The fan and hard drive indicator (HDD_LED) on the TDAS device will only activate once the computer recognizes the connected hard drive. If the TDAS unit is in standby mode or if the hard drive goes into sleep mode, the fan and indicator will stop functioning.
Abnormal Behavior
HDD drawer installation issue: The HDD drawer might not be properly installed, which can prevent the device from starting up or functioning correctly, causing abnormal fan behavior.
USB interface compatibility issue: There may be a compatibility issue between the USB cable and your computer’s USB-C port, leading to communication problems that prevent the device from working correctly. This may result in the fan spinning briefly before stopping.
Solution
Check hard drive installation: Ensure that the hard drive drawer is securely inserted. Press the drawer inward manually to verify it is properly installed.
