Hello,
i'm using a T6-423 with TrueNAS instead of the stock OS.

I would like to configure the BIOS setting "Fast > Restore AC Power Loss By IO" to make sure that my NAS boots up when power is restored if i'm away.
This value seems to be saved when doing the "Save Changes and Exit" but if i unplug the device, i am no longer able to start the device (even manually) for a few minutes, and the value is reset back to its default value "Power Off" after that.

I have followed the upgrade guide viewtopic.php?t=4238 to upgrade the BIOS from 2.21.1278 (2022) to the same version labeled 2023.

How can i fix thix ?

Suppose the BIOS always resets to the default "Power Off". In that case, you can create a script that automatically reboots the device when power is restored using a combination of Wake-on-LAN (WoL) or UPS configuration.
Boot into TrueNAS, open terminal and enter "ifconfig" => Run command to enable Wake-on-LAN: bash ifconfig igb0 wol => Create a computer or router that can send Wake-on-LAN signal when power is restored.

Yes, but that didn't work either (it's probably an issue or misconfiguration on my switch i couldn't find). Thank you for the idea though !

I ended up buying a fingerbot, this does the trick.
