Power down a D5-300C with volume/storage pool on it?

Hi all

Bit of an odd one I know. So I have a F4-423 with 4X14TB drives running plugged into (via USB C) D5-300C with 5X16TB drives. the 423 has a storage pool on it (storage pool 1) that I want to back up occasionally to a separate storage pool created on the D5-300C. So I created a storage pool on the DAS (storage pool 2) and did a successful; TNAS backup. The problem is when I powered down the D5-300C (I don't want to leave it running as its only a a backup cold storage pool that I don't need 24/7 access too) it first complained about a degraded storage pool then when I powered the D5-300C back up the main unit (running TOS 5.1) wouldn't see or let me access the storage pool created on the DAS only 10 inutes previously. Am I missing something or going about this the wrong way ?

Many thanks in advance :)

You need to restart the NAS device. After restarting the NAS device, it will re recognize D5-300C.
