Hello, I had to replace my internal USB Drive in my F8 SSD Plus and have to flash the USB Initboot to the new drive now. Where can I download the proper image?
Thanks in advance

Am I correct in thinking that the image files listed in the quoted topic are for installing TOS5 by default? (That's how it reads to me). Or, will they install TOS6 if that is the latest available for the model? Likewise, how do the image files listed on the support download pages for various models fit into the strategy?

If you need USB Initboot for TOS 6, you can contact the online customer service on the official website and they will send you the instructions.

OK, I understand your point. However, that does not answer the whole question. I see this link in the support files:

https://download3.terra-master.com/TOS% ... .1.159.img

for some of the later models. This is clearly different from the link for the older nas models and appears to be TOS6 specific
".../Bootloader/x86_6.0/...".
Can you confirm that "bootloader image" is the image file required for re-writing the internal usb device. If not, what is this image file actually for and why is it listed as a support document?

(I have downloaded a copy for posterity, anyway).

This file is a bootloader for TOS 6, not an image file for creating a USB Initboot for TOS 6.
