On the F4-424 Max, is there a way to backup the system files and config for TOS 6.0? Is it even possible to do a bare metal restore for this system incase of drive or system failure?

I have a 2TB nvme drive for TOS and installed apps + VMs and would like to back that up incase the drive fails. I have a 2nd nvme installed and configured for Hypercache and a 3 drive TRAID configured for data storage.

It is indeed sad.
Surely, IF system configuration backup (currently available) were better implemented to properly save ALL configuration changes for an individual system (which it isn't, imo) then a simple re-install of the TOS version and then restore of configuration would be all that was needed. Maybe the product team need to work on the configuration backup......

I completely agree with your opinion. At the same time, the optimization of the "Backup System Configuration" feature is underway, aiming to help more users successfully back up their configurations. After a system reinstallation, users will be able to easily import their configurations and quickly restore to the previous system state. Thanks.

Thank you. I'm guessing that additional steps might be needed (if not integrated into configuration backup) such as 'save user/group lists' and 'import user/group lists'.
