I have transferred a folder to another volume. This operation was not completed and data was lost. How can I restore the old folder?

Can you describe in detail what you did? Where did you copy the file from? What was the error message? Can you provide some relevant screenshots? If you want to recover the data, please check whether the file system snapshot or shared folder snapshot is enabled. If so, you can try to restore the snapshot.

There was an folder on volume 1 (Raid10 with Ext4). This folder should be transfered to volume 2 (RAID 1 with BTRF). The progress was stopped at 99%. i was waiting. After a while, TOS deregistered me and I had to register again. The window with the progress bar was gone. The folder is now still on volume 1 and has no more data in it. Only empty folders.

Which module did you copy the file from? TOS file management, or did you move the shared folder to a different volume? How big is the file you copied? Did you move the file?

On the TOS system desktop, open the Backup module > File System Snapshot.

The Snapshot wasn't active because volume 1 is a Ext4 filesystem. How can i recover the shared folder now?

How large is the shared folder you are moving? How long did it take to move? Try checking if the file system is corrupted:viewtopic.php?t=2575
