My PC is in the same LAN with TNAS. And I have an accsess to the https://hub.docker.com/
But TNAS hasn't. I have executed ping in the TOS terminal and there was no ping.
I haven't any firewall or special network rules in my router settings. What should I check?

Please make sure that the device can access the external network normally. Check the network settings of the NAS and change it to DHCP mode. If it still does not work, try restarting the settings.

Yesterday, before this issue popped up for me, I was unable to actually pull images in docker. It would show like it was downloading and then the image would just disappear. I SSH'ed in and tried pulling an image from there and got the following:
"error pulling image configuration: download failed after attempts=6: x509: certificate signed by unknown authority"
I feel like this is related, at least for me.
I also tried pinging:
https://hub.docker.com/
And got "ping: https://hub.docker.com/: Name or service not known"
Meanwhile pings to other websites work just fine.
help?

Updating Docker app in TOS solve me the problem. I can pull Images now, but still doesn't ping https://hub.docker.com/

Hello,

I am getting the same symptoms, where the "Registry" screen shows blank. I attempted to add https://hub.docker.com , and that did not resolve. Attempting to ping hub.docker.com results in a timeout:

user@nas:/# ping hub.docker.com
PING elb-default.us-east-1.aws.dckr.io (52.44.227.212) 56(84) bytes of data.
^C
--- elb-default.us-east-1.aws.dckr.io ping statistics ---
104 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 105449ms
Locked

Return to “Docker”
