There should be a way to reinstall the Admin password without reinstalling TOS. Synology has it with a reset button (activated with a paperclip).

Via ssh if you have ssh keys setup ?

This function is very practical and I believe many people need it, but it still needs to be done under the condition that the information is not stolen.
