D6-320 recognized as slow USB 2.0 device sometimes

Not always, but very frequently TerraMaster D6-320 is recognized by my OS (Linux on an Intel NUC11) as a slow USB 2.0 device, even if connected with the included pure USB-C cable. This happens even if D6-320 was previously recognized as fast 10gbps USB 3.0 device on same port. After a simple soft reboot of the OS, it suddenly appears as USB 2.0 (see screenshot). To make it reappear as USB 3 I need to unmount all filesystems and reconnect device in another port, which will go back to USB 2.0 after a plain reboot. In my NAS scenario this is unacceptable and very annoying.
Please advise how to fix this on Linux without the "connect it to Windows for a while" solution that I've been reading through this forum, which is unacceptable and impossible for me.
