Warning!
 1. TOS 6.0.530 features a brand-new root file system, achieving full compatibility with the Ubuntu 22.04 root file system. However, please note that all your original system configurations will be cleared after the update. If you need to retain your original configurations, do not proceed with this update!
 2. After the update, it will not be possible to revert to the previous version.
 3. The entire update process will take approximately 10 to 20 minutes during which the NAS will automatically restart twice. Please be patient and do not forcibly shut down or unplug the power during the update.
 4. Some older models do not support the update to TOS 6.0.530 due to hardware limitations. These models include: F2-220, F4-220, F2-420, F4-420, F5-420, as well as F2-221, F2-421, F4-221, F4-421, F5-221, F5-421, F2-422, F4-422, and F5-422, with BIOS versions of 5.12, MAPL0301V14, MAPL0302V13, MAPL0302V14, MAPL0303V14, MAPL0303V15, ,MAPL0304V14 and MAPL0304V15. You can check the BIOS version by going to TOS Control Panel > General Settings > System > Update > BIOS/InitBoot Location.
 5. Since the SSD Hyper Cache mechanism differs between TOS6 and TOS5, SSD Hyper Cache created on TOS5 cannot be used on TOS6. Please disable SSD Hyper Cache before updating.
 6. The presence of an M.2 SSD may affect the update. Please remove the M.2 SSD before updating.
Precautions:
 1. The Beta version is an early version of the program, containing most major functions but not yet completed, and may have some defects. This version is only released to specific groups or the general public for testing and feedback collection; the Beta version should not be used in work or production environments. If your TNAS device is running business operations or storing important data, please refrain from participating in this test.
 2. Updating the system theoretically will not affect the data on your hard drive, but for safety reasons, please be sure to back up your data in advance.
 3. The update process will completely reset the system partition, clearing your previous system configurations. Even if you backed up the system configuration files before the update, these backups cannot be restored in the updated system.
 4. After the system update, some of your installed applications will need to be updated or reconfigured to run correctly on the new system. For applications downloaded from the community, you may need to download and install the latest versions again.
 5. Due to changes in the implementation mechanism of Hyper Cache, you will need to recreate Hyper Cache after the update. It is recommended to delete the existing Hyper Cache before updating.
 6. After the update, download the latest version of TNAS PC for Windows or TNAS PC for macOS from the TOS App Center to avoid compatibility issues.
 7. After the update, register a TerraMaster account in the Remote Access section of the Control Panel to reconfigure TNAS.online.
 8. Rebuild the media index to use related functions normally after the update.
 9. After the update, applications like Plex and Emby require reconfiguring the user permissions for the shared folders.
 10. After the update, the configuration of your VPN Server and multimedia server will be cleared. Reconfigure these applications after updating.
 11. Before the update, update the TFM Backup application to the latest version. If not updated, your application configuration will be cleared after the system update, and you will need to reconfigure after updating the system.
 12. If you have modified the BIOS boot order, set the BIOS boot order to prioritize TOS before updating.
 13. Applications that depend on the database need to be reconfigured to use after the update.
 14. Before updating, ensure that your primary volume (usually volume1) has at least 3GB of available space. Insufficient storage space may cause the update to fail.
 15. During the update process, please refrain from performing any actions. If an initialization page appears after an action, kindly wait patiently and do not click any buttons.
 16. As the USB boot will be updated during the system update, once updated to TOS 6.0.530, your device will no longer be able to install the TOS 5 system.
 17. After the system update, the application information needs to be reinitialized. Therefore, after entering the system, you may need to wait 1-3 minutes before you can normally start and install applications.
 18. The IP address of your TNAS may change after the update. Use the TNAS PC desktop client to search and connect to the device again.

I just installed it on F5-221 not seeing it's not on the list. Not that I'd recommend doing this to anyone but till now at least I can see all the files in the internal volume/pool. However on the external drive attached via USB it reports as being empty, still investigating.

Back after a restart, USB drive shows all the content. So far so good on my F5-221 to know the wood.

Thanks for the update.
I did see in previous posts that it can be serial number dependent, so will await official response.

Installed over 5.1.145 on F2-424 on HDD
{Initial prep:
Prepared new Tos5 legacy uefi usb flash drive.
Inserted new usb into nas.
Inserted clean Hdd in slot 1.
Install Tos 5.1.145 as Traid on HDD.}
That went well.
Set fixed IP address (for my own benefit).

Downloaded Tos6.0.530 update package.
Manual update of using downloaded package.

No obvious errors on terminal.
As Stated:
IP address changed - did not retain fixed settings (but reverted to initial DHCP assignment, so 'standard' users should be ok)
Required to reset Admin user name and password and email. (I used the 'Skip Verification option).

Added 2nd HDD to Traid array. So far, so good - waiting on 'sync'.

One note, custom SMTP values reset, so I entered them back in.
usbshare name went from \\...\usbshare_sdb2 to \\...\usbshare_sde2 so just remounted drives on client machine

LUNs are working fine, just needed to re-enable iSCSI Manager

Did I understand correctly that this version cannot be installed if I now have version 6.0.519?
