TNAS F4-423.... connected network, power is on....... not activity hard drives, sleeping mode

Post by santidarkg »

I have been using the last 3 months my NAS. Everything was working great. I am on TNAS 5.2.003

I was reading some options to turn off my device from 12 at night to 9 in the morning, so I dont need to hear my hard drives spinning when I am sleeping.

Well, now my NAS is connected to the network, my router can see it connected........ but not hard drives activity and my Home computer cannot connect with my NAS. I tried SSH and doesnt work so, it is totally in sleep mode.

Removed battery for a 10 minutes to clean the BIOS........... restarted and.. same situation....

Not sure what to do now. Is there a way to force my NAS to be awake ???
thanks for the help

Can you verify the TOS version? The one you gave is non-existent :?

Which options did you use?

F2-424 TOS7.0.0777 - 2x500GB nvme (P3) Traid, 2x6TB HDD (HGST) Traid
F2-221 TOS7.0.0777 - 1x3TB Ext4, 1x4TB Btrfs
F2-425+ TOS7.0.0777 - 2x500GB nvme (P3) Traid, 2x6TB HDD (EXOS) Traid

Is the drive indicator on? Try to remove all drives and restart again, and check if your NAS can be found on your local network.
