D8 Hybrid: Can the nVMEs be RAIDed..?

Hi, I'm looking at the D8 Hybrid. I don't want to use the HDDs in RAID, but I may want to create a RAID 0 from two nVMEs for a fast media library. I saw on YouTube that Terramaster's own software can't create a RAID array from the nVMEs, but could third-party software do it, like MacOS's RAID Assistant..?
Also, I installed the software for the D5 Thunderbolt enclosure. Will that also work for the D8 Hybrid, or will I have to uninstall / re-install..?
TIA,

The D5 uses a HighPoint RAID controller, which is what its software will be communicating with, to configure the unit for storage; it's useless for the D8 Hybrid which is ASMedia based.
As long as your software solution (RAID assistant) can interface with the D8 Hybrid and see its drives, you can use that to achieve what you're asking to do.

Thanks, I found a YouTube video earlier that confirms that Apple RAID Assistant can do what I want… I suppose I should uninstall the HighPoint RAID controller if it’s no longer needed….

I've RAIDed mine using the Apple raid assistant (4x4TB sticks). I did a few Time Machine backups and thing looked good, and then when I actually needed to restore my data one of the RAID member drives, a brand new Samsung 990 NVME stick, is reported as having "failed" to mount. Hardware checks seem to suggest the HW is still okay, so I'm pretty worried that there's some deeper issue the glitchy communications. I'm waiting for feedback from support.

Hi. Is there any progress?
