Hi, all – new user here...

I've just ordered a D5 Thunderbolt 5-bay. I've no need to set it up as RAID (I already have a RAID array doing other stuff), it'll just be for MacOS Time Machine, my TV Library and other CCC backups. All disks will be independent. I have a spare 1TB SSD and I'll have a spare bay in the D5, so can I set up Hyper Cache using my setup..?

There's no interface on a TDAS like on a TNAS to configure a SSD cache, so unfortunately unless you find third-party software to achieve this, it's not possible.
