I have an F4-423. I need to create a new thumb drive to boot NAS. How do I do this. Actually I know how I just don't know what to download. I tried the bootloader image, but balenaEtcher said it was not a bootable image.

The link was in the thread that mentions balenaEtcher as a potential solution. (Post #1 iirc)

hiiii,
To create a bootable USB for NAS F4-423, you need to download the correct boot image file from the TerraMaster manufacturer's support page, find firmware or recovery image for F4-423. Make sure the downloaded file is in ISO or IMG format, if it is a compressed file, decompress it first. Then, you use balenaetcher to write the image file to USB. If balenaetcher does not recognize the boot file, check to see if the correct version has been downloaded. Once recording is complete, simply plug the USB into the NAS and boot according to the manufacturer's instructions.

have a nice day!!!
