Hi,

since some days I own a D4-320; two IrwonWolf 10TB are installed; the box is pluged into a PC; the PC (MoBo ASROCK Z87 Extreme6) is running with Linux (Debian). Following does happen:
  • I shut down the Linux-PC - the D4-box keeps running.
  • I press the power-button on the backside of the Terramaster to shut it down...
  • ... the PC is booting...
... why? What's wrong?

(Btwy: in the BIOS I have set "Booting at any key of the keyboard").

???

Thx

Looks like your PC's BIOS recognizes the D4-320's on/off button as part of the USB keyboard as well?
If you have any other USB devices with buttons, can you test and compare?

Thanks for answering - yes - it seems so. Your hint was good: I plugged in an optical mouse to the USB when the PC was shut-off - the PC started! Then I disabled in BIOS the setting of PS/2 "Booting at any key of the keyboard": no starting of the PC when plugging-in the mouse.

So this issue comes from the motherboard/BIOS - not from the D4-320. Sorry for the confusion.

Thx
