Setting up SSD for OS and apps?

I have two SSD's in my F6-242, one set up as the "system drive"(and when I check under disks, it says System Drive next to it) and one for "cache".

How can I use the system drive for apps too? Installing apps only gives me the TRAID volume as a place to install. I can set that SSD drive up as a new Volume or Storage Pool, but it will wipe the drive, and therefore I assume the OS will go?

So I just want to know how to set up the SSD for OS and apps?? If it's at all possible?

Hello! The installed system disks can be used to create storage pools and volumes, and this process does not affect the existence of the system. Regarding your mention of how to set up SSDs for operating systems and applications, I suspect you may be interested in learning how to configure caching for them. However, it should be noted that caches are typically created for volumes (rather than individual operating systems or applications).

Thanks for this, are their any articles or guides on this. When I tried to create a pool from the System Drive it said it would format the drive, which I didn't want to do if it was going to wipe the OS.

"All data on selected disks will be erased! Are you sure you want to continue?"

Just before I press go I want to make sure its safe.

When creating a storage pool, the selected hard drives will be formatted, which will erase the data on them but will not affect the system.
