How to expand Tnas

Hello all

I have run out of space on my t12 nas and would like to know what is the best method to expand.

Buy other hard drives to replace the 12 already mounted?

Buy another nas?

Mount an external hard drive of 16tb or more and connect it to the nas?

Thanks for letting me have your advice and opinions.

You can end up with enlarged storage pools if you replace them one by one with larger disks, or add hard disks to a NAS with more disk space.

Disks outside the NAS cannot be added to the existing storage pool, only as a new additional storage pool.

Thank you so much zethar for your answer, very clear.

Today I was asked to move part of the data stored on the Tnas to the company Dropbox which has over 100TB free space.

Avoiding downloading and reuploading which takes ages and a lot of space management, is there any way to copy the data FROM the nas directly to the DropBox folder online?

Apps like cloudsynd and similar are useful to manage this work??

Thanks

You can use TerraMaster DAS to expand your TNAS . The D6-320 is a good choice .
