TRaid migration and size improvement

Hi, I am wondering if what I want to do is possible.
I own an F4-423 NAS with formerly 2x4TB + 2x2TB HDD. There are 2 storage pools, one of 4TB and the other of 2TB. Each storage pool has only one volume of the max possible size.
Unfortunately one of the 4TB HDD broke and I replaced it with an 8TB HDD as TRaid seems to be able to maximize the max possible storage size.
As 2+2+4=8, I thought that I could go up to 8TB instead of 6Tb.
Unfortunately I discovered too late that one can only add equal or bigger HDD to a TRaid storage pool and not add gradualy any HDD.
So I'm wondering if:
1) I can reach a total 8 TB storage pool with the combination of 8TB+4TB+2x2TB
2) I can migrate my 2 TRaid storage pools (4TB + 2 TB) to a single 8TB one
My plan is now to upgrade my 2TB storage pool, but I can find out how to transfer my 4TB HDD to the 2TB one (and thus upgrading it to 4TB) without whiping out all the data.
For the moment only the 4TB volume is fille up to 3TB, althoug I can find some temp storage space (up to 1.5TB) on my PC to perform temporary storage for transfer purpose.
If someone could shed some light on whether or not what I'm tryig to achieve is possible, that would be great!
