D4-320 and JBOD?

I am thinking of getting a D4-320 as a backup solution for my F5-221. As the F5-221 is no longer supported and I am primarily using it as a file server alone, I am thinking about getting the D4-320. My current setup doesn’t use raid (I use JBOD and map 5 network drives). Does the D4-320 have access to each drive individually through the usb-c cable? If yes, how would they be mounted?

I'm afraid you can't realize that.
The F5-221 is a NAS device and the D4-320 is a DAS device, similar to a hard disk enclosure.
The JBOD is a whole array, and Windows does not recognize the EXT4/BTRFS filesystems on the JBOD by default, nor does it recognize them individually.
Generally speaking, you may be able to read the filesystems on the JBOD through some third-party disk utilities. However, the D4-320 does not have enough disk space. You may want to consider a model with more disk space.
