A "pretty" status screen for the HDMI output

TNAS 12-423
The HDMI output shows a pretty useless (to most users) linux text screen.
What if it showed a status screen, with some kind of graphics, showing the usage of various resources? That way I could tell from across the room if something was wrong...

I have no idea if this is actually possible; create a docker instance of a desktop os and then instal a browser within it and output the browser to the hdmi display. Use that browser instance to log into tnas and display control panel > overview. (Even expand it to full screen). But then, I suppose, you would also need a keyboard and mouse attached to the tnas. Maybe a kvm switch if you want to.
Or you could just use an existing computing device to log into tnas and keep a display screen running in background for when you need it.

Can you take a picture of the HDMI screen output and show it to us?

To improve the HDMI output on the TNAS 12-423, it could show a simple status screen with graphics displaying CPU, memory, and storage usage. This way, users could easily check the system's health from across the room.

Sorry, I haven't logged in a while.
it's a basic list of text entries. If you've ever seen a linux system boot up, it's all the text stuff that scrolls up during the boot process.
