Recently purchased a U4-423 and have a few questions:

* IS the internal usb pin header, not the port the, usb 3 gen 2?
* Are the (mini) SAS connectors active (i.e. usable), there are two additional?

Thx a bunch ...

Hi, we are trying to understand your query.
You are asking about the version of the U4-423's internal USB port and whether the U4-423 supports the use of SAS expansion connectors, right?
May I ask what exactly you mean by "there are two additional?"?

The internal USB port is USB 2.0. SAS connectors are not supported.

I figured out the USB header is 2.0, so good there. Still looking for input on the other two SAS connectors...

such sas connector is common to connect a 4xSATA Kabel (on each port), which makes the board to hande 12 sata drives. Assume, its the same as in the T12-450

SAS connector is not supported. This SAS interface is used to connect to the backplane and cannot connect to standard SAS.
