Hi, the he current link to "update" TOS 6.0+




is the one provided below, which only contains TOS 5 versions (Iin my case for my T12-423 unit) - see screenshot below,

can you also provide in the same page an adittional option to download the lastest TOS6 (if the current TOS is 6.0+) and provide a link for that, for example viewtopic.php?t=6378&hilit=tos6+download

something like this....but prettier...

Option 1 = same as now
Option 2 = similar text to option 1, but for TOS6
Option 3 = Current option 2

TOS 6 is currently in the beta testing phase, and the forum is currently the only place where the beta version can be downloaded. When the final version is released, we will provide a download link on the download page.

But, Please Be Careful. Tos6.0.229 is, I believe, the last update for TOS6 that does not change the root file system. Once you update to the next release (6.1.420 at time of writing) the USB initboot drive is re-written and cannot (also at time of writing) be reversed. This prevents reversion to earlier releases of TOS until such time as the initboot usb can be reverted or re-modelled. This is available (Today, Aug 3rd 2024) for some models but not all yet.

Read ALL of the release notes carefully.
