Hi,

I've been using USB Copy to backup NAS to My Western Digital Element external drive for the last 3 month. Recently, I've noticed USB Copy fails to backup and external drive doesn't mount anymore. I did connect to my computer and confirm the external drive is fine.

My current TOS version is 5.1.123. TRAID setup wtih 3 drives

The only thing I've done is adding UPS to the NAS and connected to a USB port from the UPS to NAS and showing it's connected and working correctly.

What's the solution to this issue?

We need more information to confirm your question. Please collect system reports in the "Technical Support">"Problem Reporting" module and send them to the technical support email for review.
From your description, it seems that you are trying to say that this is related to your new UPS? After collecting system reports, you can try to temporarily disconnect the UPS and connect it to home electricity.
