Fan replacement T12-xxx

I don't quite understand how Terramaster understands what a sleep mode is. I have 12 Seagate Ironwolf drives installed in the enclosure and the fans have never stopped spinning even though the drives go into hibernation (why doesn't the LED flash when the drives are in sleep mode like on any computer device?) .All that despite hours of inactivity and a non-hot environment
Since I don't think Terramaster is going to modify the bios to solve this, I thought about installing some Noctua fans to minimize the sound.
Has anyone changed the fans and can you please tell me which Noctua model you used?
Thanks in advance

Before you consider buying new fans, you will need to verify the type of fan headers used. At least, the earlier TM NAS models use (as far as desktop users are concerned) "non-standard" or "industrial" headers. This means that replacement fans are not a direct fit and might need some conversion to fit the motherboard. Or, you might find (as I did) that some motherboards have both types of header although there is no guarantee that the "standard" headers will work.

Thank you very much Gremlin to support.
I'll do that, I'll look at any connector problems there may be before purchasing a Noctua fan to test.
But I still don't understand why Terramaster doesn't improve the sleep issue in its TOS.
Regards

Re sleep: My understanding is that is purely a function of the OS and the fact that the TNAS OS (default) is stored on a raid1 hdd array (comprising all the HDD in the system). As a matter of course, the OS has functions that it performs on regular and periodic basis - such as cron functions, log writing, etc, etc. As such the OS really never sleeps, so in the current configuration, neither will the HDD. Until TOS6 is finalised (and lives up to it's promises) I don't see this situation changing. {But, even with ssd the system will still be running unless someone comes up with an easy and efficient way to 'force' a sleep mode.}

The truth is that I don't trust TOS6 much except for cosmetic issues and little else.
Not have I read that in the future they will solve the painful operation of sleep so that it behaves like any computing device like a PC, that's why I think the only solution I have is to put fans that bother less.
