My Terramaster F4-220 appears to have failed. I'm getting no green light on on the Lan LED, 4 red on the Drive LEDs. There's no beep on start up. I need to recover this since I haven't made a backup in a very long time and need it. It was in a Raid 1 and it appears to have been using the btrfs filesystem.

I tried the battery contact suggestion with a paper clip. I tried creating a new USB initBoot drive, but that didn't appear to work. That was on a brand new USB drive. I haven't tried rebuilding the iniboot on the original USB drive.

I've been trying to mount it in both linux and windows. In Linux, it was coming up as a linux-raid drive in gparted. I moved back to windows and tried winbtrfs. I wasn't able to get that to work. I moved on to WSL. It looks like it was able to mount the drives with that, but I'm not sure it supports btrfs. The drives come up in file explorer under the linux tab, but doesn't look like it is recognizing the filesystem. I think in might be missing a step in how to mount this drive.

I did try disk internals linux reader. It looked like it could see stuff in there but I had to pay to do anything else. I'm not sure if it fully supports btrfs and wasn't sure I wanted to try it.

If I can't figure out how to read the drive in WSL, could I just move these to a new terramaster nas to recover the data? I was looking at a F2-423 on amazon.
